We attended a great devotional tonight.  We're catching the missionary spirit.  I wondered why we were assigned to go to the MTC for a week - now I know.  The spirit here is so strong.  We're surrounded by hundreds of worthy young men and young women and a few of us older missionaries. They, along with us, are willing to sacrifice time with family and schooling and finances in order to serve the Lord wherever and however they are assigned.  We've been assigned as physical facilities missionaries in Nauvoo.  No idea why or exactly what we'll be doing...we'll just be the best we can be at what we are asked to do.  We miss our family already - but we know we're where the Lord wants us to be.
