Carthage Caroling

Last week we went to Carthage and walked from the jail to the town square where we caroled outside businesses.  It was funny when we went into a rest home and caroled.  One of the residents asked what church we were from and we told her The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She told us that the Mormons had already been there!  We had two groups who were caroling and one had already been there. Apparently, she didn't realize that "Mormon" is just a nickname for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Personally, I prefer the correct name of the Church since it includes the name of Jesus Christ, whom we worship.

Just off the town square is this cool frozen yogurt shop named after Lilly!  Sad to say it was closed.
