The Christmas Walk and the FLC
Each year Historic Nauvoo hosts a tree lighting ceremony which includes, obviously, a tree-lighting ceremony in the visitor's center as well as horse drawn wagon rides, snacks in the FLC and stories in a few of the sites. The historic sites are beautifully decorated by our hard-working FM crew.
Luminaries leading to and from the FLC as well as a picture of the interior.
Sherry helping serve food - a variety of breads. Some we baked in the FLC and a few we bought from our Amish friends in Iowa.
Our friends the Schmitts. Elder Schmitt is an FM Handyman and taught me a lot while I worked in FM. He can fix anything! Sister Schmitt works in FM in Conservation. They take care of artifacts and did most of the decorating of the sites. Very hard working couple.
