Here's an example of a typical handyman project in Nauvoo. We were assigned to replace the genuine non-historical plastic weatherstripping carelessly used in the past with more authentic copper. We noticed a trim board that was in poor shape so removed it. We found the bottom of the door dry rotted. We went to the carpentry shop and manufactured a temporary replacement to cover this large crack and now the entire door will be remade. That has been added to the list for our carpenters. I think it's behind a whole bunch of other window and doors replacements!
