Sherry the Painter and the Granger House
These are pictures of the paint shop, Sherry working caulking and spackling a new, restored window and a picture of the Sarah Granger Kimball home. Finally, a picture of the first window Sherry finished caulking and painting. All the trim and windows and doors have been made in-house to match historical design.
This house is where the church's women's organization, The Relief Society, was discussed for the first time in the mid 1840s.. Pretty cool. Joseph Smith and his wife, Emma were in this home numerous times. When we served in Russia we got to tour Ephesus in Turkey and walk the streets where the Apostle Paul walked and taught. Since we believe that Joseph Smith was an Apostle and a Prophet being here is a big deal for us. We're grateful for the opportunity to serve our Savior in whatever way needed.
