We're Handy - Handymen.
These are pictures of Elder Childers and Elder Schmitt, my fellow handyman. We have just finished a very manly project putting that 3/4 inch exterior pressure treated plywood on the front of the Sunset By The Mississippi stage. It looks like a pretty easy project but under that plywood is a substrate (technical handyman term) that was irregular. That means that each piece of plywood we put on had to have shims under it so the resultant face would be nice and smooth. This stage is where the Young Performing Missionaries (YPM) and the Senior Missionaries (OPM) put on an hour long performance six nights a week. Singing and dancing. Elder Childers gets to narrate a little and read a genuine cowboy poem all by his lonesome. Very little singing and dancing is actually done by either Elder or Sister Childers. We arrived too late to practice much so we have limited roles. The other OPMs have been practicing for months.
We’re Handy too! From English Handy ancestry!
