We traveled through Riverside, Iowa which is the self-proclaimed future birthplace of Captain Kirk. Apparently they decided to do that when they found out he was supposed to have been born in Iowa...and the Star Trek franchise eventually gave them the okay. They have Star Trek Days. You never know what you're going to find cruising around the mid-west.
