MORE Visitors!!!

Here's a family from Christopher's ward in Richland - the Mortensens.  Their daughter has a mission call to Romania!  The dad asked me to testify in Russian, which I did.  The tears really flowed as I used my little Russian language skills to testify about the Savior and the Prophet Joseph.  Wonderful experience.
Our friends, the Yorgersons, showed up unannounced and unexpected.  We met them in Saratov as we served together.  They are preparing to go on their fifth mission - this time to Oakland, CA.  They have served in Australia, twice in Russia and in Florida.  Fantastic to see them.
 Kathryn Easton dropped by, too.
Jeff Owens, a Russian missionary, visited with his family.  Really good to remember our service together.
Two sisters from Richand, Sisters Carter and Wuerch  They were here for EFY.
Tom Melanson came to Nauvoo, too.  He was working.  He works for the church as a graphic designer...not sure exactly what his title is or what he was doing here - I'd say working on a Nauvoo Rebranding project. Nauvoo is now under the church historical department instead of the missionary department - so things are and will be changing.  Exciting to be a small part of, even if it's just observing the changes.
Kathryn Easton dropped by the blacksmith shop, too.  She lives and works in Kansas City.  Good to chat with her about our lives together in Eureka.
