This is a picture of Elder McGowen, the Nauvoo Brass Band tuba player. He was spectacular. I made up a new adjective for him every Sunset performance...tubalicous, tubalizing, tubatechnic, tubaforte, etc. When he left I was asked to get the tuba repaired, which we did. It had five joints that needed soldered, numerous dents repaired and cleaning and corking. It's ready to go for next year.
